Josh Hug

Josh Hug is the CEO and Co-Founder of Shelfari.com.

Prior to Shelfari, Josh most recently served as Director of Devices at RealNetworks. At RealNetworks Josh helped create two businesses within the company. He was the initial member of a team created to explore RealNetworks strategy in the music device space. Josh was instrumental in developing RealNetworks’ vision, building a large diverse team and finally in creating a world-class product. Previous to the device initiative, Josh was RealNetworks’ Development Manager for DRM and Embedded Applications. Josh was selected to an initial team of 3 engineers tasked with building a DRM and eventually ran the DRM development group. Along the way he lead integration with another company that Real acquired.

Josh has a bachelor’s degree from Whitworth College where he double-majored in Computer Science and Mathematics.
