Howard Lindzon, Big In Boulder

Howard Lindzon came to TechStars for a visit and spend the last few days meeting with the teams as they prepare for the final push to the end of the summer.

If you don’t know Howard, you should read his about page, and also some of the more… pointed pieces he writes.

Things I learned from Howard:

Love what you do. You don’t try to make money off a company that isn’t your passion so you can do so yourself.

Be true to your thoughts, and honest about your actions

The stock market has its own share of problems (beyond the obvious), most public stocks are there because the investors wanted to sell

You have to have humor

You create your own luck (but still need to get lucky)

Small quality audiences are better than mass audiences that don’t care or are substandard

I think Howard enjoyed his visit to Boulder, I am sure we will see more of him.

And we better. Or the video of him getting skunked by our ping pong champion will appear online.
