Monthly Community Talk

We are excited to announce that TechStars will be hosting a monthly call on the first Wednesday morning of each month. This is a 100% interactive call, not some boring one way conversation. We’ll go where you take it. To get things rolling, we’ll bring up a few topics each month, and then we hope to just take your questions and answer them, or to spur interesting community discussion. The shows will be recorded as a podcast series that we’ll also make available for everyone.

On the first call, we plan to talk a little bit about the following subjects:

1. The recent acquisition of TechStars company Socialthing by AOL.

2. Demo day which was held in Boulder on August 20th.

3. Introduce a few of our new companies from 2008.

4. Talk about what we’re looking for from applicants in 2009, how and when to apply, etc.

5. Why we made a silly lip dub video.

6. Take your questions on any of the above or anything else you’d like to talk about.
